“We are the church of the open minds, the loving hearts, and the helping hands.”

This year’s classes are:

We provide comprehensive nursery programs for the youngest of our visitors.
Grades PreK-4
We are using resources from the UU curriculum “Creating Home”. Through stories, lively discussion, games, and crafts, we introduce the children to the 7 UU Principles, and explore how UU Spirituality can guide us in everyday life.
Grades 5-8
We use the UU “Love Connects Us” curriculum. The focus of this class is on living the 7 Unitarian Universalist Principles, building community both within our class and within the Fellowship. It is our hope that each child will EXPERIENCE the UU beliefs so that they may begin the process of making decisions about how they will incorporate them in their daily lives.
Coming Of Age (Grades 10)
Youth who reach the age of sixteen may decide to sign the membership book and become a voting member of our Fellowship. They may choose to explore this decision within the “Coming of Age” process
Our Whole Lives (OWL)
MMUUF offers OWL, a comprehensive discussion-based sexuality education program. OWL provides honest, accurate information about sexuality changes through the lifespan. OWL fuses frank discussion of sexuality with personal values and trust. It dismantles stereotypes and assumptions, builds self-acceptance and self-esteem, fosters healthy relationships, improves decision making, and has the potential to save lives.  For these reasons and more, we are proud to offer Our Whole Lives (OWL). For 2017-2018, OWL is being offered to teens in the Fellowship and in the wider community, through a 13-week program.
