MMUUF is a lay-led fellowship, meaning we don’t have a full or even part-time minister on staff. This means the majority of the work of making MMUUF run smoothly is done by members volunteering on our committees. For many of us, our work on our committees is as much a part of our spiritual practice and growth as attending Sunday Services.

The MMUUF Steering Committee (SC) is responsible to manage finances, oversee day-to-day operations, and perform long range planning for the Fellowship. The SC supports and guides each operational committee (Sunday Services Committee, Religious Education Committee, Building Committee, Membership Committee, etc.) by coordinating overall goals and communications. The Steering Committee consists of the five officers – President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Member at Large. Officers are elected to one year terms by Members of the Fellowship at the Annual Meeting, held in June. The Steering Committee generally meets monthly throughout the year.
